Audrey’s Back producer Pixcom bolsters scripted division with new hires

French-language dramatic comedy Audrey’s Back

Montreal-based producer Pixcom has expanded its scripted division with the appointment of Martine Pagé, Isabelle Courval and Véronique Gaudet.

Pagé is joining the scripted development team as fiction development director, having previously worked as a screenwriter, and will report to Charles Lafortune, creative head and executive producer at the company.

Courval and Gaudet have joined as producers and will both report to Nicola Merola, president and executive producer at the Audrey’s Back maker.

The appointments come after two series recently produced by Pixcom, Indefensible and Anna & Arnaud, began airing on TVA in Quebec.

The firm is currently in production on Wong & Winchester for Rogers/CityTV in Canada. The police procedural series will be distributed globally by Lionsgate.

Audrey’s Back, meanwhile, has recently been sold by Beta to Canal+ in France and Italian pubcaster Rai. The French-language dramatic comedy series follows a woman who miraculously wakes up from a coma after 16 years.
