Audio Network lands Red Arrow exec

TV music supplier and producer Audio Network has appointed a former Red Arrow distribution executive as its head of sales and business development for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Tim Gerhartz will head up the region’s sales team from the company’s Munich office and is tasked with building new business and raising the company profile. He reports to Nick Woollard, director of global sales operations in London.

Gerhartz was most recently VP of sales and acquisitions for the UK, Scandinavia, Italy and Benelux at Red Arrow International, and before that worked for distributor ZDF Enterprises.

Woollard said: “Tim brings a wealth of experience in TV distribution to Audio Network. His understanding of the important role great music plays in creating incredible content puts him in an excellent position to drive our business forward in the DACH countries.”

Gerhartz’s arrival follows the departure of Audio Network chief strategy officer Juliette Squair, who joined online TV rights portal TRX as its deputy CEO earlier this month.
