River Battlefront looks at the hippo and Nile crocodile in East Africa

Broadcasters in Asia have acquired factual titles about hippos, the cosmos and public health from Singapore-based distributor and producer Bomanbridge Media.

Discovery Asia has acquired multiple titles including Hippo Supremacy, which documents a mother hippopotamus who risks her safety to protect her struggling baby, and River Battlefront, showing how the hippopotamus and the Nile crocodile share a home in East Africa.

Other wildlife titles acquired by Discovery Asia from Bomanbridge include Tanzania’s Best Kept Secrets, Crocs of Katuma and Fawn Identity.

Elsewhere, South Korea’s EBS has acquired Strip the Cosmos, which uses CGI animation to strip planets, moons, black holes, stars and galaxies to solve key mysteries surrounding the origin and destiny of the universe.

CNN Southeast Asia has acquired Cobra Mafia, Creative Killers and People’s Health, a six-hour series that looks at how people in Thailand, China, the UK, Brazil, Istanbul and Turkey cope with major health issues.
