Asian nets nab Mojicons

The Mojicons is sold in Asia by Bomanbridge Media

A slew of broadcasters in Asia have become the latest to pick up an animated children’s show produced by Danish prodco Ink Group.

The Mojicons, which is set in a behind-the-scenes world of the internet populated by emoticons, has been picked up by Jetsen in China, Sun TV in India, Thailand’s TPBS and Canal+ in Myanmar.

It comes from Russian creators Alexander Romanetz and Viacheslav Marchenko and is aimed at four- to 10-year-olds.

Bomanbridge Media picked up rights to sell the show in Asia last year, with Nickelodeon in Greece amongst other international buyers.
