Franco-German cultural broadcaster Arte and non-English-language drama specialist Walter Presents are among the latest international buyers of Dutch drama series Red Light.

Red Light has already aired in the Netherlands and Belgium and is set to air on Flemish channel VTM this autumn. In the show, three women become embroiled in the world of human trafficking and prostitution when one of their husbands disappears.

The series is a copro between Dutch prodcos Eyeworks and Hollands Licht for VTM and Dutch channel NPO.

The series is produced by Peter Bouckaert, Gunter Schmid, Nelsje Musch-Elzinga, Mark Furstner and Erwin Godschalk in coproduction with stars and creators Halina Reijn and Carice Van Houten.

European distributor Federation, which holds worldwide rights to the series outside Benelux, secured the deals for the show.
