Arte Distribution to shop slate of history-themed factual titles at Mipcom

Ramesses II, Secrets of a Pharaoh is coming to Mipcom

Paris-based Arte Distribution has announced a slate of history-skewing factual titles for Mipcom, including Ramesses II, Secrets of a Pharaoh.

The 3×52’ series, produced by RMC Decouverte and Ah! Production, unveils details about the Egyptian leader’s personal and political life.

Polychromia: Archaeology of Colours – Ancient Greece (1×52’/90’, Sequana Media Productions for Germany’s NDR), meanwhile, uses technology to restore the long-lost colours of Greek sculptures and artworks.

The slate also includes The Mystery of the Desert Kites (1×52’/90’, Ma Drogue à Moi for France 5), about mysterious sculptured designs and symbols found in Jordan’s Black Desert; and Vizier Weni The Elder, The Mystery of the Second Tomb (1×52’/90’, Iliade Productions for Arte France) which uncovers the secrets of a newly discovered tomb.
