Arte acquires Lebanese drama from Videoplugger

Awake follows a woman after she awakes from a coma

NEWS BRIEF: Franco-German cultural broadcaster Arte has picked up a Lebanese drama that centres on a young woman after she wakes up from a coma.

Awake is directed by Mazen Fayad (Beirut: 6:07), who also produces the 16×45’ series through his Beirut-based production company Momaz Flick. Nadia Tabbara created the drama, which is distributed by UK-based Videoplugger.
