She will report to MD Henry Scott and assumes overall responsibility for the running of the entire production process at Like A Shot, up to and including post-production.

The appointment coincides with the launch of the company’s first podcast, Forbidden History, a 10-part series building on the long-running international TV brand.

Hosted by Janine Harouni, the podcast series examines true crime stories through history and will launch globally on October 12 across all major podcast platforms.

It follows the success of TV series Forbidden History, which has run over multiple seasons and currently airs on Yesterday (UKTV) in the UK and Discovery Channel in the US.

Like a Shot is partnering with Viasat World to roll out a raft of non-English language versions in Eastern Europe and the podcast is distributed by Auddy.

The series launches with Hitler’s Niece: Suicide or Murder, exploring the controversial death of Geli Raubal. In 1931, through the walls of an apartment in Munich, German Chancellor Adolf Hitler was heard arguing with his 23-year-old niece. Within hours, Raubal was found dead from a gunshot wound to her chest.
