Argo adapts Strictly star Johannes Radebe’s memoir

NEWS BRIEF: Richard Johns’ UK indie prodco Argo Films will coproduce Finally Home, the upcoming movie adaptation of Strictly Come Dancing star Johannes Radebe’s memoir, Jojo: Finally Home.

Working alongside Anthony Kimble’s Arrested Industries and Helena Spring Films (HSF), Argo will work on the UK-side of the project while HSF focus on filming in South Africa.

Finally Home (w/t) will tell the story of Radebe’s poverty-stricken childhood and early career as a dance teacher in Johannesburg, before joining the cast of BBC1’s hit contest format Strictly Come Dancing in 2018.
