Apple TV+, Sony alum Kim Rozenfeld joins Paramount as senior VP of current TV

Paramount Television Studios in the US has named former Apple TV+ and Sony Pictures Television (SPT) exec Kim Rozenfeld as its senior VP of current television.

In the new role, Rozenfeld will oversee scripted projects both for the television studio and Paramount+. He will report to Cheryl Bosnak, executive VP and head of current for Paramount Television Studios and Paramount+.

Most recently, Rozenfeld was the president of his own prodco, Half Full Studios, which had a first-look deal with Apple TV+. Through that deal, the company produced projects including docuseries Home and documentary Watch the Sound with Mark Ronson.

Before that, he was the head of current programming and non-fiction development at Apple TV+, where his areas of oversight included scripted and non-fiction and content.

He was previously executive VP of US current programming at SPT, where he worked on titles such as Better Call Saul, Outlander and The Blacklist.

“Kim brings with him an incredible wealth of experience, and he has a deep understanding of television in all its forms today. We are excited to have him across multiple projects,” said Bosnak.
