APC Studios hires Agat Films & Cie’s Agathe de Lorme for French production role

French producer and distributor APC Studios has appointed former Agat Films & Cie exec Agathe de Lorme to work across its slate of productions in France.

De Lorme joins APC’s French label APC Stories as a producer, having acrued 10 years of experience including stints as creative producer for Netflix series Mortel and for Mandarin Production’s Canal+ series Validé before joining the TV unit at Agat Films & Cie.

The exec will manage APC Stories’ upcoming scripted series and documentaries in France, reporting to company joint-CEOs and co-founders Emmanuelle Guilbart and Laurent Boissel.

“We are thrilled to welcome an executive of Agathe’s calibre to our growing production team in France,” said the pair in a statement. “She will bring her extensive experience, in-depth local knowledge and energy to the company and our active development slate.”
