APC puts on Little Tiaras

Little Tiaras is aimed at girls between the ages of four and seven

The kids division of French distributor and producer APC Studios has bagged the international sales rights to Little Tiaras and will debut the animated series at Mipcom next month.

The 52×7’ animation is an original commission by Russian broadcaster CTC Media and is aimed at girls between the ages of four and seven.

The plot follows five princesses who study wizardry on the island of Wondermont. The series is produced by Melnitsa Animation Studio and owned by CTC and Russian prodco CTB Film Company.

APC has brought in British story editors David Moore and Emma Hogan to work on new episodes of the toon. The French firm holds the show’s global distribution rights outside Russia, CIS and mainland China.

APC Kids and CTC Media previously teamed for the international roll out of animated series Kid-E-Cats, which has been licensed into Hungary, the UK, Italy, Spain, Eastern Europe and Asia, among other territories.
