The collaboration aims to create a one-stop shop for studios looking to develop culturally authentic and internationally resonant stories, by combining Story Critters’ expertise in cross-cultural storytelling and adaptation with Toon Pocket’s writing, story-editing and development services.

Toon Pocket launched last year with the goal of creating fresh and original IP. Founder and president Joe Vitale is the former head of series at Baboon Animation and previously worked at studios including Little Airplane Productions and DreamWorks Feature Animation.

Founded by Juliette Rogasik, Story Critters helps animation studios develop engaging content that resonates with culturally diverse audiences around the world.

Vitale  said: “In today’s industry, international success isn’t optional, not even for small studios – it’s essential. We can now bring expert consultants from any part of the world in at the earliest stages of a project’s development to work alongside our writers, ensuring the stories we create speak authentically to the audiences our clients are targeting.”
