Known for his motion-capture roles in The Lord of the Rings film trilogy and King Kong, Andy Serkis has directed movies such as 2017’s Breathe and Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle through his company The Imaginarium, co-founded with producer James Cavendish in 2011.

Also maker of movies including No One Gets Out Alive and Death & Nightingales, The Imaginarium has produced TV shows like The Bastard Son & the Devil Himself as well as an upcoming drama series about the woman behind the Madame Tussauds waxworks museum.

Serkis and Cavendish spoke to Rockfleet Productions MD Emma Smithwick about what’s to come from the company in 2023 and beyond, with Serkis embarking on his TV series directorial debut and developing a show rooted in the world of digital avatars and non-fungible tokens.
