Ancient Autopsy of grave importance for BossaNova Media’s factual Mipcom slate

Ancient Autopsy is presented by academic Suzannah Lipscomb

London-based content creation, funding and distribution company BossaNova Media has secured the distribution rights to three new factual series, including historical investigation series Ancient Autopsy.

The 4×60’ docuseries, produced by Yeti Films and pre-bought by UK broadcaster Channel 4 for More4, sees academic Suzannah Lipscomb go in search of the truth behind the deaths of historical figures Cleopatra, Alexander the Great, Genghis Khan and Tutankhamun.

Red River Gold (12×60’/26×30’), produced by Canadian outfit 3 Story Pictures for indigenous people’s broadcaster APTN, joins Métis treasure hunters on their search for a trove of gold.

Finally, Gold Wars Down Under (10×60’) is made by Fredbird Entertainment for Australia’s 7mate. It follows mining teams as they battle it out on one patch of gold-rich land to see who can unearth the biggest nuggets and the most gold in one season.

All three series will be unveiled to buyers at Mipcom next month.
