AMC+ takes Sky Italia’s Anna to US

Sky Italia’s dystopian drama series Anna

NEWS BRIEF: AMC Networks’ streaming service AMC+ has picked up the US premiere rights to Sky Italia’s original drama series Anna from the series’ distributor, Fremantle.

The dystopian six-parter sees a virus sweep the world, killing adults but sparing children, and is produced by Fremantle-owned Wildside and Sky Studios in coproduction with Arte France. Created and directed by Niccolò Ammaniti, the series is inspired by the author’s eponymous novel.
