AMC Networks Int’l picks up drama trio from Keshet for Spain, Portugal channels

Club Illico crime procedural Blue Moon

AMC Networks International has acquired three dramas from Keshet International (KI) for its channels in Spain and Portugal.

The US company has taken pay TV and SVoD rights to all three seasons of French-Canadian crime procedural Blue Moon (30×60’), made by Aetios Productions’ for streamer Club Illico.

It has also licensed Swedish drama Dreaming of England (Sommaren 85), a 6×60’ coming-of-age comedy-drama produced by Art and Bob Film and Drama for SVT.

Finally, AMC has taken the first two seasons of Pørni (6×30’), Monster Scripted’s Norwegian comedy-drama produced for Viaplay, which already counts HBO Max Lat Am among its buyers in 45 territories.

KI has also completed a string of deals for a range of other non-English-language dramas. Globoplay in Brazil is among the buyers for Koda Communications’ Israeli crime series Line in the Sand (8×60′); TF1/M6-owned SerieClub in France has acquired pay TV rights to Monster Scripted/X-Filme Creative Pool thriller Furia (8×60’), made for Viaplay and ZDF; and RTV Slovenia has licensed Glassriver’s Icelandic comedy-drama Journey (6×30’).
