Discovery+ Premium will cost £29.99 (US$34.80) per month and will provide access to every UEFA Champions League game and select English Premier League matches via WBD-owned TNT Sports, as well as entertainment content such as Richard Hammond’s Workshop, 90 Day Fiancé UK and Faking It.

TNT Sports, a joint venture between WBD and UK telco BT that replaced the latter’s BT Sport in July, broadcasts 52 Premier League matches a season as part of its current rights package.

Discovery+ Premium will also feature Premiership Rugby, MotoGP, UFC, boxing and WWE through TNT Sports, plus the Australian Open and Roland-Garros Grand Slam tennis tournaments, world-class cycling events and the Olympic Games Paris 2024 through Eurosport.

Chris Bird, UK country director at Prime Video, said: “This extension of our partnership with Warner Bros Discovery will give our Prime Video customers in the UK access to even more of the best sports and entertainment, all in one place.”

Andrew Georgiou, president and MD at WBD UK and Ireland and WBD Sports Europe, added: “Discovery+ Premium is now the home to some of the best real-life entertainment content and the most sought-after sports events with the integration of Premier League, Champions League and Premiership Rugby among others through TNT Sports.”
