Amazon seeks senior programming manager for Prime Video in Spain

US tech giant Amazon is seeking a local programming manager for its Prime Video service in Spain.

In a job ad posted online, the company said: “The senior manager of local programming is the cornerstone between creative development, content acquisition, production, post-production, marketing and promotion to build the most user-centred catalogue in Spain.”

The successful applicant will be expected to “support the development and launch of the shows and work with all parties to premiere on time and successfully.”

Other responsibilities include proposing release dates, monitoring each release and working hand in hand with the marketing department and the other Prime Video teams in Europe.

Prime Video has just premiered one of its latest original productions in Spain, Celebrity Bake Off, and is preparing drama series Without Traces. Among the next premieres on the platform are dramas Sin Limits and Operación Marea Negra and documentary Rubius X.
