Amazon Prime Video preps Norwegian version of ITV Studios’ I Kissed a Boy

Prime Video’s Norwegian version of I Kissed a Boy drops later this year

MIPCOM: Amazon’s Prime Video streaming service has commissioned a Norwegian version of the ITV Studios dating format I Kissed a Boy.

The local adaptation, produced by ITV Studios Norway, will be hosted by Emilie Voe Nereng and follows a group of single gay men who move into an idyllic farmhouse in southern Italy, where their journey begins with a kiss, to explore attraction and real connection.

Without apps or distractions, the men hope to find genuine chemistry but when new participants suddenly appear, everything is turned upside down.

The format originated in the UK and its second season aired on BBC Three in May.

ITV Studios is shopping the format in Cannes this week and the Norwegian version will premiere later this year.
