Amazon Prime Video investigates Murder in the Red Light and Becoming Ian Brady

True crime docuseries Murder in the Red Light

Prime Video in the UK and Ireland has licensed true crime docuseries Murder in the Red Light and Becoming Ian Brady as Amazon exclusives.

Both docuseries are produced by Woodcut Media and distributed internationally by London-based Abacus Media Rights.

Scheduled to launch on Prime Video in April, Murder in the Red Light (3×45’) takes a closer look into the decades of murder cases where killers have targeted vulnerable sex workers as potential victims.

The series is produced by Milly Ali and directed by Jo Conchi, with Woodcut Media’s CEO Kate Beal and Matthew Gordon exec producing.

Due for launch in May, Becoming Ian Brady (3×45’) presents the complete story of the infamous British serial killer who, along with his partner Myra Hindley, murdered five children in the Greater Manchester area in the 1960s.

The series is produced by Woodcut Media’s Emma Griffiths, directed by Andy Robinson and exec produced by Woodcut Media’s commercial director Koulla Anastasi and Matthew Gordon.
