Tuesday Afternoon Kitchen debuted as a Facebook web series

Amazon Prime Video has ordered a four-part second season of satirical comedy series Tuesday Afternoon Kitchen.

Written and directed by Dan Summers, the sitcom takes a swipe at daytime current affairs programmes and chatshows.

Host Simon Chantry fronts the spoof show from a London TV studio along with teetotal former wine expert Rupert Sebacious-Smythe, who now handles soft drink and food reviews.

Together they take calls from celebrities and viewers on a range of burning issues, as well as chatting to celebrity chefs and special guests live on the sofa.

Season one of Tuesday Afternoon Kitchen, which is produced by Fun Clamp Productions, debuted as a Facebook web series last year and is now available on Amazon.
