Amazon, Bouygues sign set-top box deal

Amazon Prime Video has signed an agreement with France’s Bouygues Telecom and renewed its output deal with Entertainment Film Distributors in the UK.

Under the agreement, customers who own a Bbox Miami or Bbox 4K set-top box will now have access to the Amazon Prime Video app.

Meanwhile, through its renewed deal with Entertainment Film Distributors, Amazon Prime Video will continue to be the UK and Ireland’s first-window streaming home to the studio’s theatrical feature films.

The multi-year deal will allow Amazon Prime Video members in the UK and Ireland to watch the latest Entertainment Film releases including Guy Ritchie’s The Gentlemen, starring Matthew McConaughey and Hugh Grant.
