Alpha TV and Keshet Germany adapt Israeli drama Save the Date as S2 greenlit

Alpha TV in Greece and Cyprus and Keshet Germany are adapting Israeli drama series Save the Date for local audiences, while original broadcaster Keshet 12 has commissioned a second season.

Originally produced by Tedy Productions and Reisdor for Israel’s Keshet 12, Save the Date (6×60’) is a romantic comedy about a successful wedding planner who suddenly finds herself single. When her grandmother’s old love spell backfires, she is unexpectedly juggling four suitors from her past and present.

Keshet International has sold the finished tape in 12 territories, including Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Ukraine and Uzbekistan, as well as to Netflix in Israel, where it will debut this weekend.

The newly commissioned second season will air on Keshet 12 in 2026.
