In the new role, Simpson, who has been with Kinetic for more than a decade, will oversee all of the company’s unscripted series produced in North America. She will report to Kinetic founder and CEO Chris Coelen.

The company also has a UK business, which will continue to be led by managing director Laura Gibson.

In addition to Love is Blind, LA-based Kinetic is behind series including The Ultimatum and Perfect Match for Netflix, Married at First Sight for Peacock and upcoming relationship series Making Love for Paramount+.

During her tenure at Kinetic, Simpson has worked alongside Coelen overseeing each season of Love is Blind in the US, in addition to shows such as Married at First Sight.

Kinetic Content has been owned for the past four years by Peter Chernin’s The North Road Company, which was earlier this year acquired by French media company Mediawan.

“Ally Simpson is an incredibly talented leader and storyteller. Widely admired both inside Kinetic and in the community, it has been a great privilege working with her for the past decade, and I’m even more excited about the future with her in this new role,” said Coelen.
