Allison Wallach promoted to top unscripted post at Fox Entertainment

Allison Wallach has been promoted to president of unscripted programming at Fox Entertainment after former unscripted chief Rob Wade was promoted to CEO two months ago.

Allison Wallach

LA-based Wallach, who was previously executive VP and head of Fox’s in-house unscripted studio Fox Alternative Entertainment (FAE), will be charged with overseeing Fox’s unscripted programming, specials and alternative development slate, including series such as The Masked Singer, Next Level Chef, MasterChef, Hell’s Kitchen, I Can See Your Voice and Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars.

Reporting to Wade, she will also manage Studio Ramsay Global, TMZ and continue to oversee FAE. Fox Entertainment said a replacement for Wallach’s previous role would be named in the coming weeks.

Yasmin Rawji

In addition, Fox Entertainment has promoted Yasmin Rawji to the newly created position of executive VP, unscripted – network. Rawji, who was most recently senior VP of alternative entertainment, will be responsible for Fox’s reality slate, reporting directly to Wallach.

The executive shakeup was prompted by the departure of former Fox Entertainment CEO Charlie Collier, who exited the role in September to join Roku. Less than three weeks later, Wade was appointed as his successor.

“Since joining us – in early 2020, no less – Allison has played a critical role in navigating FAE through one of the most arduous chapters the television business has ever witnessed and, in doing so, helped build it into a key growth driver for Fox Entertainment,” said Wade.

“FAE has greatly expanded its global presence under Allison’s leadership, and, in her hands, I am confident Fox’s unscripted portfolio will continue to enjoy similar success.”
