In their new roles, the pair will oversee day-to-day operations in the US, and continue to build out the New York-based company’s slate of original formats, factual entertainment series and documentary programming.

Corn and Hsue, who previously served as senior VP of production and development and senior VP of development, respectively, have been overseeing the US business since the departure of Tony Tackaberry earlier this year.

Lion Television US operates under UK-headquartered prodco Lime Pictures, which is owned by London-based production and distribution group All3Media.

Over the past year Corn and Hsue have spearheaded shows such as gameshow Jason Biggs’ Cash at Your Door (for E!) and the reboot of Cash Cab (Bravo). They have also overseen more than a dozen titles for Investigation Discovery and Discovery+ including Citizen PI, Diabolical, The Deadliest Decade, Grave Mysteries, The Lies That Bind, Crimes Gone Viral and The Murder List.

Together they have more than three decades of experience at Lion Television US. Before joining in 2004, Corn was a showrunner and producer for The WB, Sundance, WE tv, Oxygen and Discovery. Hsue arrived in 2006 after spending more than five years as the head writer on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.

“Seasoned developers and respected producers, Allison and Stan are a powerhouse pair whose impressive track record underpinned Lion’s success in the US market,” said Claire Poyser and Kate Little, managing directors at Lion Television and Lime Pictures. “Their passion for their craft is unparalleled, and with both at the helm, the company is well positioned to see continued growth.”

In addition to the promotion of Corn and Hsue, Lion Television US has elevated Rebecca Bregman to head of production, Jennifer Silverman to senior VP of current and development, Sarah Cattano to executive in charge of production and Bridget Latino to director of development, together with Kevin McLoughlin as production executive and VP of operations.

Said Corn and Hsue: “It’s an honour to be leading the talented and creative team at Lion US and we are thrilled to have the support of Kate Little and Claire Poyser and All3Media as we shape the company’s future.”

Last month it was revealed that Nick Catliff, chief content officer and co-founder at Lion TV in the UK, was stepping down after nearly 25 years with the company.
