Cutts will lead on all of Aurora’s content, with a particular focus on building out the company’s non-live slate, across digital and shortform, branded and premium longform documentaries.

She will also work in a strategic capacity across the live sports portfolio as Aurora creates a new management team structure” to position the business for the next phase of growth and development.”

MD Lawrence Duffy, to whom Cutts reports, becomes CEO; director of operations David O’Carroll takes the chief operating officer role; and Lee Attreed moves from financial director to chief financial officer.  Barry Flanigan continues as chief strategy officer, leading on business and strategy development.

Cutts joins from Red Bull where she spent five years, firstly working brand-side to build out the longform content portfolio, including executive producing The Last Ascent, before moving to Red Bull Studios, where, as head of unscripted, she looked after a slate of unbranded documentaries.

This includes The Real Mo Farah and upcoming feature documentary The Reggae Girlz, directed by two-time Oscar winner Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy.

Prior to Red Bull, Cutss worked in senior development roles across the factual broadcast industry, including at the BBC, Fremantle, Betty and Maverick, as well as providing consultancy services for Sport Relief, Neom and various brands and creative agencies.
