All3Media unveils slate including Michael Jackson doc, reality format The Inheritance

Rob Rinder and Elizabeth Hurley host The Inheritance

All3Media International has lined up a Mipcom slate including docuseries The Trial of Michael Jackson, new Studio Lambert psychological reality format The Inheritance and a raft of dramas featuring the likes of Gillian Anderson, Gemma Arterton, Sheridan Smith and Paapa Essiedu.

The four-part Michael Jackson project, produced by Wonderhood Studios for the UK’s Channel 4, is a re-examination of the highly publicised 2005 trial in which the singer was accused of child molestation.

Other docs on All3Media’s slate include The Moonies: Married to the Cult (Story Films), Diddy: In Plain Sight (Lion TV), Spacey Unmasked (Roast Beef) and Who is Ghislaine Maxwell? (Roast Beef).

Factual entertainment titles Hidden Wild Isles (4×60’, Silverback Films), Wild Homes with George Clarke (6×60’, Perpetual Entertainment) and Beyond Bali: The World’s Most Exotic Islands (8×60’, Southern Pictures) will also be shopped to buyers in Cannes.

On the drama front, All3Media’s slate features Channel 4 dramas Trespasses (4×60’, Wildgaze), starring Anderson, Lola Petticrew and Tom Cullen, and Summerwater (6×60’, Freedom Pictures), starring Dougray Scott, Shirley Henderson and Valene Kane. These join ITV espionage thriller Secret Service (5×60’, Potboiler Films), with Arterton and Rafe Spall.

Other new scripted series include BBC One drama Babies (6×60’, Snowed-In Productions, The Money Men), starring Essiedu and Siobhán Cullen, and ITV crime drama I Fought The Law (Hera Pictures), with Smith leading the cast, in addition to returners Trigger Point, All Creatures Great & Small, Brokenwood Mysteries, Ridley and Mystery Road: Origin.

All3Media will also introduce its new Studio Lambert and Motion Entertainment format The Inheritance to buyers.

The psychological gameshow, which sees a group of strangers attempt to outplay, out-charm and out-scheme the competition in order to claim an inheritance, debuted on Channel 4 in the autumn, with Elizabeth Hurley hosting. Also on All3Media’s formats slate are The Traitors and The Circle.
