The distributor, which is part of RedBird IMI-owned All3Media, has also secured the rights to The British Blood Scandal: Poisoned at School, a one-hour special examining one of the biggest scandals in the history of the UK’s National Health Service. The project is set to air on ITV later this year.

All3Media International also picked up the global sales rights to a pair of upcoming titles for Channel 4.

The Disappearance of Jay Slater (working title) is a feature-length special exploring the disappearance of British teen Jay Slater in Tenerife last year, while Slaying at Sycamore Gap (working title) is a two-parter looking at the deliberate felling of the iconic Sycamore Gap tree.

Candour Productions is based in Leeds, UK, and led by founder and chief creative officer Anna Hall.

“We have long admired Candour’s high-quality, agenda-setting documentaries and the company’s work in championing inclusive filmmaking,” said Rachel Job, senior VP of unscripted content at All3Media International, adding that the “demand for thought-provoking, attention-grabbing documentaries is as strong as ever, and our clients – and their viewers – will be eager to dive into this collection.”
