All3Media bundles German fiction into one group led by Irina Ignatiew-Lemke

Production and distribution group All3Media is bundling its fiction activities in Germany into one new group and has hired former Red Arrow International exec Irina Ignatiew-Lemke to run it.

All3Media Deutschland Fiction will contain all of the group’s German drama production businesses. This includes Filmpool Fiction – the prodco behind shows including Polizeiruf 110, Tatort and Kommissar Dupin – which will continue to be led by Iris Kiefer as MD.

The new group, which will be headquartered in Berlin and will have offices in Cologne and Munich, will be managed by Ignatiew-Lemke, who has been working in the media and film industry for more than 25 years.

She founded her own company, Boxworks Media, in 2017 after holding various executive positions at production and distribution firms in Europe and North America, including Germany’s Red Arrow International. During her time there, Ignatiew-Lemke advised Deutsche Telekom on the setup and content direction of streamer Magenta TV and executive produced the drama series Wild Republic.

All3Media Germany CEO Taco Rijssemus said: “We firmly believe in the international appeal of German fiction and the great synergy potential with the other production companies within the All3Media Group.”

Ignatiew-Lemke, who will continue to expand the All3Media fiction team in the coming months, added: “We want to be a ‘creative heart chamber’ for talented writers, directors and producers, where we jointly develop and create entertaining, socially relevant and internationally marketable content.”
