All3, Banijay, eOne, Fremantle, ITVS to host physical London TV Screenings in 2022

The London Screenings will take place in the UK capital early next year

All3Media International, Banijay Rights, Entertainment One, Fremantle and ITV Studios have again joined forces to hold the London TV Screenings as an in-person event in February and March next year.

The London-based distribution giants launched the inaugural London TV Screenings, which was virtual because of the coronavirus pandemic, last year.

While it was the first formal showcase to come from the five firms, they have been working together over the past few years on independent screening events in the UK capital, coming just after the annual BBC Studios Showcase event in Liverpool.

The now annual London TV Screenings will take place from February 28 to March 4 and will feature “events from the individual companies, exclusive content, bespoke sessions and chances to connect with programme makers,” according to a statement from the group.

The statement added: “The London TV Screenings are back having already carved out a significant reputation as a key destination for buyers worldwide.

“It makes perfect sense that we can work collaboratively to curate quality shows and avoid in-person screening conflicts to showcase all the latest scripted, non-scripted and format programmes.

“We very much expect more distributors to join too and look forward to coming together to present the very best these distributors have to offer at a number of venues, in the heart of the capital, and to a wider digital audience. We’ve no doubt this evolving London TV Screenings week will provide an unforgettable experience for buyers across the globe.”

The news means the London TV Screenings will take place in the same week as BBC Studios’ Showcase, which is a three-day virtual event running from February 28 to March 2.
