Alibi takes on CBC’s Pretty Hard Cases

Cameron Pictures’ buddy-cop drama Pretty Hard Cases

NEWS BRIEF: Multi-channel broadcaster UKTV has picked up Canadian buddy-cop drama series Pretty Hard Cases for its Alibi crime channel.

Starring Meredith MacNeill (Baroness von Sketch Show) and Adrienne C Moore (Orange is the New Black), the irreverent 10×60′ series follows two very different female detectives. The show is produced by Cameron Pictures for Canadian pubcaster CBC and Universal International Studios, part of Universal Studio Group. It was acquired by UKTV’s global acquisitions manager, Charlie Charalambous.
