NEWS BRIEF: IN10 Media’s India-based factual streaming service DocuBay has signed a global distribution deal with Germany’s Albatross World Sales (AWS).

DocuBay, which launched in 2019, has licensed documentaries on topics including nature, science and history from AWS and will make them available in more than 170 countries.

Titles include: Giants with Mud Feet, in which a group of scientists struggle to save a proud, towering elm tree from its tiny yet terrible enemy – the elm bark beetle, which causes a fungus that spreads Dutch elm disease; and Canary Islands: In the Shadows of the Volcanoes, which looks at the unique geography of the archipelago built by steep volcanic mountains.
