Al Jazeera heads for Talesmith’s Earthrise

Qatar-based news and factual network Al Jazeera has commissioned a six-part show that explores the most significant environmental threats to the planet.

Earthrise (6×30′) is being produced by UK producer Talesmith and will highlight eco-friendly solutions around the world being used to solve environmental problems.

Martin Williams, CEO and creative director of Talesmith, described the show as “an eye-opening and informative series which focuses on innovative solutions – often developed by young people from around the world.”

Earthrise is executive produced by Kirsty Wilson and Martin Williams. It is due to air from May 2019.

Talesmith was behind The Real T Rex With Chris Packham for BBC2 in the UK and is in production on Life of Earth: From Space and Life of Earth: The Age of Humans for Smithsonian and Zee Entertainment.
