AI-focused Deep Fusion Films taps Niki Page to lead international partnerships

London-based Deep Fusion Films, the recently launched production company and artificial intelligence (AI) specialist, has appointed factual executive Niki Page as its international partnerships agent.

Page’s remit is to build Deep Fusion’s international profile by forging alliances with platforms, broadcasters, brands and coproduction partners, and exploring new production finance models.

She will report to Jamie Anderson and Benjamin Field, who launched Deep Fusion in October 2023 as a factual and scripted production company with a speciality in AI.

Page has worked as a factual consultant for companies including Red Arrow International and Spark Media. Prior to launching her consultancy in 2021, she spent six years as Sky Vision’s head of factual acquisitions. Her CV also includes senior acquisitions roles with Channel 4 International and Fremantle Media.

Anderson and Field’s first collaborative production was a feature-length biographical documentary about Anderson’s father, legendary Thunderbirds creator Gerry Anderson, who was responsible for some of the UK’s most popular children’s TV shows of the 1960s.

In Gerry Anderson: A Life Uncharted (Britbox UK/Format Factory TV/Anderson Entertainment/Abacus Media Rights), deepfake technology was used to ‘ethically’ repurpose intimate audio archive footage and bring Anderson back to the screen to discuss his life and career.

Deep Fusion has a slate of soon-to-be-announced projects in the pipeline, including feature-length documentaries, scripted series and sports content.
