Agnese Štrause-Kubliņa becomes head of entertainment and documentary content at Latvia’s LTV

Latvian pubcaster LTV has appointed Agnese Štrause-Kubliņa as head of entertainment and documentary content.

Štrause-Kubliņa was head of LTV’s children, youth and entertainment broadcasting department, a role she took on in 2020, until January this year.

She had previously worked as an exec producer at LTV in 2015 and 2016, following which she took a break from TV to become a project coordinator and researcher at political organisation the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Riga from 2016 until 2020.

From 2006 until 2011, Štrause-Kubliņa was an exec producer at SIA Domburs, a prodco founded by Latvian journalist and TV host Jānis Domburs to produce LTV’s current affairs show What’s Happening in Latvia?

Štrause-Kubliņa’s role change comes as LTV officially merged with its radio counterpart Latvijas Radio on January 1 this year to form Latvia Public Media.
