Agents infiltrate US

US cablenet BBC America will air the original UK version of Free Agents in its Saturday night comedy block, as NBC preps its local adaptation of the show.

The original 6×30′ romantic comedy, set at a London talent agency, aired in the UK on Channel 4.

NBC will air its own version on Wednesday nights from this fall. Stephen Head, who played the brash, sex-obsessed boss in the original, reprises his role in the new show.

BBC America will show the original from Saturday October 1 at 23.30 in it’s The Ministry of Laughs comedy block.

The two-hour block began airing on June 18, featuring shows such as The Inbetweeners, Come Fly With Me and The Thick of It.

Free Agents is a Big Talk and Bwark production for Channel 4, distributed by BBC Worldwide.
