AGC Television tracks down global rights to Lithuanian-German drama Wolf’s Prey

English- and Lithuanian-language murder mystery Wolf’s Prey

AGC Television, LA-based AGC Studios’ scripted TV producer and distributor, has picked up the worldwide rights to Nordic thriller Wolf’s Prey.

Written and directed by Emilis Velyvis (Redirected, The Generation of Evil), the 6×45’ Lithuanian-German crime-mystery was produced and financed by Lithuania’s Kino Kultas and Germany’s Kodachrome with backing from the Lithuanian Film Centre, private investors, Lithuanian national broadcaster LRT and Telia Play.

The English- and Lithuanian-language project, produced by Kino Kultas and Kodachrome, follows a determined female detective who begins to uncover a dark web of secrets following the brutal murder of a young woman in a small town.

The cast includes Edward Holcroft (Kingsman: The Secret Service), Ingeborga Dapkūnaitė (Mission Impossible), Agnė Šataitė (Provisionally Yours), Tommi Korpela (Omerta 12/6) and Ieva Andrejevaitė (Tetris).

The series is produced by Daiva Varnaitė-Jovaišienė and Asta Liukaitytė for Kino Kultas, and coproduced by Michael Müllner, Georg Prokop and Josef Brandmaier for Kodachrome. Executive producers include Tero Kaukomaa of Finland’s Son of a Pitch and AGC’s Stuart Ford, Lourdes Diaz and Diane Ferrandez. The deal was negotiated by Kodachrome managing director Michael Müllner and AGC’s VP of legal and business affairs, Conor McElroy.
