After Party Studios elevates Joshua Barnett to CEO

London-based digital specialist After Party Studios is elevating Joshua Barnett to CEO after seven years as managing director.

In his new capacity, Barnett will be responsible for driving further growth across original and branded content, digital-first productions and international collaborations.

Launched by YouTuber Callux (real name Callum McGinley) and film director Ben Doyle (aka Rvbberduck), After Party Studios is behind digital series including Scenes (Sky Sports), Find the Cheater (Channel 4.0) and the Sidemen Charity Match. Last week, Don’t Get Catfished (Channel 4.0), coproduced with Bakers Dozen Studios, was renewed ahead of its debut.

Before joining After Party Studios, Barnett was head of partnerships at UK talent agency YMU. Prior to that he was the UK sales director at YouTube multichannel network Base79.

Doyle said: “As MD, Joshua has guided After Party Studios’ transformation from a boutique production company into a globally recognised creative force.”

McGinley added: “Josh’s respected leadership, sharp business vision, and proven ability to scale teams position him perfectly to lead as CEO, propelling us into our next chapter of growth.”
