AETN International ups factual content

MIPCOM NEWS: A&E Television Networks’ (AETN) distribution arm AETN International has expanded its programming slate to include original factual content from sister company AETN All Asia Networks (AAA Networks).

Its original programming now includes productions from AAA Network’s channels History, The Biography Channel in Asia and Crime and Investigation Network.

Among the new titles are one-off documentary specials The Maguindanao Massacre, chronicling last year’s attacks on the southern Philippine island of Mindanao; and The Malayan Emergency, documenting Malaysia’s recent political struggles, which was produced in conjunction with the country’s film council, FINAS.
