A+E titles head to Germany via expanded deal with Seven.One Entertainment

MIPCOM: A+E Networks and Germany’s Seven.One Entertainment Group are expanding on their existing strategic partnership with a new multi-year volume deal giving the latter access to additional content from A+E’s catalogue.

Under the expanded deal, Seven.One Entertainment Group, which is part of ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE, will have access to titles from US networks including A&E, Lifetime, FYI and The History Channel.

Titles included in the deal are A+E franchises Pawn Stars, Storage Wars, Forged in Fire and Curse of Oak Island, while Seven.One Entertainment Group will also have first access locally to all new IP from the History Channel.

The deal, which was announced at Mipcom by A+E Networks group MD of international Patrick Vien, will see A+E titles being broadcast across the majority of Seven.One’s portfolio of platforms.
