NEWS BRIEF: A+E Networks UK has commissioned an unscripted series in which true crime authors including Denise Mina investigate the real-life murder cases that inspired their novels.

Produced by Banijay-backed IWC Media with Motion Content Group and A+E Networks, Once Upon a True Crime will air on the Crime+Investigation channel in Spring. The four-parter was ordered for A+E Networks UK by Dan Korn, VP of programming, and Diana Carter, commissioning editor and head of talent.
