A+E Global orders 110 episodes of culinary content from Free Food Studios

Rachael Ray

US-based A+E Global Media is expanding the scope of its partnership with Rachael Ray’s Free Food Studios with a big order of 110 episodes.

The bumper commission includes new episodes of culinary series Meals in Minutes, which will go into production this fall and air on the Home.Made.Nation lifestyle programming block on cablenets A&E and FYI next year.

Free Food Studios is a joint venture between A+E Global Media, Intentional Content and Ray. The production and distribution company is a collaboration between Ray, a television personality, author and philanthropist, and her long-time producing partners Brian Flanagan, Anthony Amoia and Sean Lee.

The joint venture was initially launched last year, with Free Food Studios developing more than 200 episodes of culinary content. Some of those series are fronted by Ray, while others feature notable chefs from across the US.

Programming from Home.Made.Nation is available across A&E, FYI and A+E’s FAST channels, covering genres including DIY, home improvement, home searching, food, cooking and travel.

“I’m thrilled to continue growing our partnership with A+E and to keep sharing the kind of food and storytelling that feels like home,” said Ray. “Together with Free Food Studios, we’ve built a creative space where cooks and viewers can connect through comfort, curiosity and real-life inspiration.”
