Adult Swim supports Teenage Euthanasia

Adult half-hour comedy toon Teenage Euthanasia

US cablenet Cartoon Network’s night-time adult animation programming block Adult Swim has greenlit a new half-hour comedy series from author Alissa Nutting and producer Alyson Levy.

Teenage Euthanasia will premiere in 2021, written by Nutting (Made for Love) and produced by Levy (The Shivering Truth). It is produced by US prodco PFFR and animated by Augenblick Studios.

Set in a mildly apocalyptic near-future, Teenage Euthanasia centres on the Fantasy Family and their inland Florida funeral home, Tender Endings.

“With Teenage Euthanasia, Alissa and Alyson have created both a world and a family that everyone can relate to, laugh at and ultimately feel relieved that they aren’t a part of,” said Michael Ouweleen, president of Adult Swim.
