The announcement was made this Tuesday by the Hispanic channel, which said Santucho will be responsible for leading the development and production of unscripted content, including reality shows, competitions and musical specials, for linear and streaming platforms.

In this role, they added, he will develop and manage all the creative components of the area and will focus “on optimising development plans to produce relevant and innovative content aimed at diverse audiences across Telemundo’s portfolio.”

“Adrián brings to Telemundo a deep experience in the production of unscripted content and live specials,” Pons noted.

“He is a widely respected professional in Spanish-language media and has successfully led large-scale international production companies, developing content for broadcast networks, cable channels, and streaming platforms throughout the region and in the United States. We welcome him to Telemundo and look forward to working with him to further strengthen the success and robustness of our unscripted content offering,” he added.

Santucho takes up the position after completing his time at Argentine prodco 360 Powwow, where he had been serving as CEO and chief creative officer.
