NEWS BRIEF: AMC Networks-owned US streamer Acorn TV is launching in Portugal for the first time today via local telecoms operators MEO and NOS.

The service, which specialises in scripted content from outside North America, particularly the UK, will launch with a slate that includes classic ITV dramas Doc Martin and Foyle’s War.
