Supernatural Academy is based on Jaymin Eve’s books

ANNECY: ABC Australia, Disney in Japan, New Zealand’s TVNZ and MBC in the Middle East are among buyers of new 41 Entertainment kids’ cartoon Supernatural Academy.

The show is adapted from Jaymin Eve’s bestselling book series The Supernatural Academy, chronicling an otherworldly adventure of sisters marked at birth.

US-based animation specialist 41 Entertainment secured the rights in 2019 and the toon premiered on NBCUniversal streamer Peacock in January. Hot in Israel and Bell Media’s Crave in Canada are also among new acquirers of the property.

The TV series was created by Allen Bohbot and Eve, with Gillian Horwath as head writer and animation services provided by ICON Creative Studio in Vancouver. 41 Entertainment handles sales from its London office.
