ABC Kids and Hop! pick up dinosaur series Dino Dex

NEWS BRIEF: Broadcasters ABC Kids in Australia and Hop! in Israel have acquired children’s live-action and CG palaeontology series Dino Dex.

The show follows a nine-year-old artist, explorer and palaeontologist-in-training who has the ability to magically see and study dinosaurs in the real world. It is a spin-off to Dino Dana, which ran from 2017 until 2020. Produced and distributed by Canada’s Sinking Ship Entertainment, Dino Dex was also recently acquired by ITVX Kids in the UK, where it debuted last fall. The show’s original partners were Amazon Kids+ in the US, TVO Kids and TFO in Canada, and SVT in Sweden.
