ABC, Disney shop at Beyond

Australia’s ABC has picked up The Wacky Word Show

ABC in Australia and Disney Japan are among the broadcasters to have picked up children’s content from Beyond Rights.

The Wacky Word Show (13×30’) was bought by the Australian pubcaster while Disney Japan acquired Netflix Original series Beat Bugs (78×11’), plus a 45-minute movie special.

Elsewhere, Ceska Televize in the Czech Republic has licensed the first two series of CBBC’s The Dengineers (22×30’), while Hop Channel in Israel has acquired Cbeebies’ Hushabye Lullabye (10×3’) and the second season of award-winning Numberjacks (20×15’) and has also renewed its licence for the 45-minute Numberjacks special.

In the US, BYU has acquired S2 of CBBC’s Gym Stars (20×30’) and in Asia, Motown Magic (13×11’) has been sold to Radio Television Malaysia.

Also in Asia, Daekyo Kids TV in South Korea has acquired preschool title Hushabye Lullaby (10×3’) and Hong Kong Cable Television has taken all four seasons of Junior Vets (40×30’) and all three seasons (37×30’) of The Dengineers.

Beyond Rights, meanwhile, has acquired the worldwide distribution rights to 25×11’ series The World According to Grandpa, produced by Saffron Cherry TV for Channel 5 in the UK.
